Momentum Bullpen Gets a Makeover!

For those of you who have been to our office and have seen the Momentum Bullpen – you know that its colorful, there’s airplanes hanging from the ceiling, and we have a room entirely dedicated to oversized bean bags surrounding a TV playing the thong song music video on repeat.

The Momentum Bullpen and adjacent room makes ya feel a little crazy. The chalkboard wall looked like we let 25 sugar high kids loose on it. (evidence below). It was only 23 and they are all related to me. Just kidding. The chalkboard was mostly made up of doodles from past interns. The tombstones representing some past interns we may or may not have killed in the below image. 

With summer ending, and fall approaching (PSLs all day every day #basic) .. We felt we needed to (pumpkin) spice things up, and maybe clean and disinfect the Momentum Bullpen plus we wanted to add some things. We found a couple of empty 5 pound bags of twizzlers handfuls of 5 guys receipts and a case of water balloons. 

Basically, we had to gut the bullpen and start over. We added and office that adjoins the Momentum Bullpen with beautiful parking lots views. The office is completed with standing desk, computer and phone. All the modern luxuries a marketer would need.

Intern island

The momentum Bullpen is now intern island. We have interns flown in from all over the world to enjoy the island. The island is equipped with new swirly, sparkly purple chairs, a few computers and phones. We also moved the tv to Bullpen island along with bean bags so now we can enjoy them while watching interns in their natural habitat.

Visiting hours for interns have changed to 10am – 4pm. We find they need an hour or so to get settled in the morning before viewing. If we don’t do this its just really stuff you don’t want to see.  The end of the day viewing has also been cut short an hour as to get them settled before they are released. So thats the deal with the makeover!
